Hi Tipsters,

Apologies for the late update, as I have been away from work the last couple of days.

Congratulations to Peter Lee, who has held on by 1, to win the 2011 Power Customs Footy Tipping Competition.
Peter finished on 148 after tipping 4 for the final round.
Mike Doyle has finished 2nd on 147 after he tipped 6, with David Vallance finishing in 3rd position after he also tipped 6 and finished 3 behind Mike on 144.
I will be in contact with the overall winners and weekly prize winners over the next couple of days, to sort out the cash prizes that you have won. For those like myself, who didn’t win jack, there is always next year J.
Thanks to those who participated this year and I am sure I will be in contact with you in late February to kick start the 2012 season.
For now though, I am off to ensure I have a good standing spot for Saturday at the G, as I am very much looking forward to the Pies making it back to back this year, despite their little hiccup on the weekend.
Good luck if your team is playing over the weekend and if your team isn’t, I am sure you will be supporting the Magpies J J J.

The RULES are as follows:

1 -        Payment is $35.00, which must be received by Round 3.

2 -        Tips must be in by 5.00 pm on the Friday before each round begins.
            In the event of a mid-week game they must be received the day of the game.

3 -        The prizes will be split at the end of the season as follows:

1st Place:  60% of pool

2nd Place:  25% of pool

3rd Place:  15% of pool

4 -        In the event of a tie, prize money for places will be split amongst the winners
            (i.e. Two tie for first, 1st & 2nd prize money split between them).

5 -        There will be a $10.00 jackpot per week for those who pick eight (8) winners.
            Dividends less than $10.00 will not be paid and jackpot to next week.
            In the event of there being no winner of the jackpot in the last week, the remaining funds will go to the competitor(s) with the highest number of winners for the round.

6 -        In the event of a drawn game, the draw will be counted as a win and added to your total,  you are still eligible for the jackpot.

7 -        If tips are not received by the above mentioned time, then as a default, you will receive the lowest score for that round.

8 -        More than one entry from each individual will be accepted.
