Good Morning,

Round 16 has once again thrown up a few surprise results, which has resulted in some changes to the top of the leaders board. Adam Power (90) still holds the lead by 1, with 2 people Taipan Barnett and Bill Power (89) 1 behind him. In equal 4th are Mike Doyle and Kevin Chamberlain on 88, with 3 people on 87. 3 people were able to tip 6 and the average was only 4.24.
Adelaide kicked off round 16 with a surprise win over Geelong over at AAMI Stadium. This was followed up the next day with the mighty Magpies storming to the top of the AFL Ladder with a convincing win over St.Kilda at the MCG. Saturday night saw Mark LeCras kick 12 goals against the Bombers and walk away with a 32 point victory.
Sydney were too good for the Blues at Etihad Stadium yesterday and North Melbourne ended Richmond’s recent run of good form, with a 50 point win at a very wet MCG.
The final game of the round saw Fremantle defeat the Dees in a nail biter at Subiaco by 11 points.
Looking ahead to round 17 and we kick off with a cracker on Friday night as St.Kilda host Hawthorn at Etihad Stadium. Other games that look to be good contests on paper are West Coast hosting Carlton, the Western Bulldogs playing Fremantle, Melbourne and Sydney and the final game of the round sees the derby with Port and Adelaide doing battle over in the west.
Please ensure you have your tips submitted by 5.00pm this Friday as the weekly jackpot is now at $20.

The RULES are as follows:

1 -        Payment is $35.00, which must be received by Round 3.

2 -        Tips must be in by 5.00 pm on the Friday before each round begins.
            In the event of a mid-week game they must be received the day of the game.

3 -        The prizes will be split at the end of the season as follows:

1st Place:  60% of pool

2nd Place:  25% of pool

3rd Place:  15% of pool

4 -        In the event of a tie, prize money for places will be split amongst the winners
            (i.e. Two tie for first, 1st & 2nd prize money split between them).

5 -        There will be a $10.00 jackpot per week for those who pick eight (8) winners.
            Dividends less than $10.00 will not be paid and jackpot to next week.
            In the event of there being no winner of the jackpot in the last week, the remaining funds will go to the competitor(s) with the highest number of winners for the round.

6 -        In the event of a drawn game, the draw will be counted as a win and added to your total,  you are still eligible for the jackpot.

7 -        If tips are not received by the above mentioned time, then as a default, you will receive the lowest score for that round.

8 -        More than one entry from each individual will be accepted.
